PARCA, which stands for “Partners & Advocates for Remarkable Children & Adults,” has been enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families since 1952. Our programs are designed to create a feeling of extended family to help people live as independently as possible and enjoy all that life has to offer.
Our philosophy is that all people have the same value and the same human rights, and PARCA is committed to creating opportunities for people of all ages with developmental disabilities to experience choice, control and individuality in every area of their lives.
PARCA provides support to our clients at all stages of their lives–from child-care to helping them master self-reliance and independence in adulthood–thus boosting their chances of leading satisfying, comfortable, safe, dignified, healthy and happy lives. Parents receive support and advocacy services and information from the moment they learn they’re going to have a baby with disabilities.
Through the support of caring, engaged and compassionate people like you, who sign-up for the trail runs or donate to PARCA, we are able to continue to provide vital services to a most-deserving and remarkable community.
